The Republic of Armenia announced a temporary visa exemption for eligible foreign nationals, including the U.S., through July 1.

In addition to the U.S., the list includes EU member states, Schengen Area countries, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.

Eligible visitors can stay for up to 180 days within a one-year period, provided their residence permit is valid for at least six months from the date of entry.

Frontier will slow fleet growth


Frontier Airlines will return 24 aircraft to lessor AerCap Holdings in the second quarter and delay deliveries of 69 Airbus planes.

Frontier currently has a fleet of 176 planes. According to J.P Morgan investment analyst Jamie Baker, the return of 24 Airbus A320neos will be countered by expected new deliveries of 24 aircraft this year. 
The 69 deferrals of Airbus A320neo and A321neo planes will move deliveries that had been scheduled from 2027-2030 to 2031-2033. Frontier wants to rein in long-term growth rates to approximately 10%.

2025 was a down year for Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas


The decline in tourism numbers for 2025 reported by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority last month was, not surprisingly, evident at the citys Harry Reid Airport, as well.

2025 was a down year for Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas Almost 55 million passengers went through the airport in 2025, down 5.9% from 2024s record-setting total of 58.4 and 4.6% from 2023, a year that also set a record.
Although the total was still the third-highest in the airports history, domestic traffic was down 5.9% from 2024 and international traffic was down 7.4%, according to the Clark County Department of Aviation.
Canadian airlines finished the year with steep drops. WestJets passenger total for 2025 fell about 28% year over year, while Air Canadas total dropped almost 22%.

Condor Airlines looks to the future


FRANKFURT -- As Condor Airlines celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2026, it is also declaring itself a reborn business.

The line said it is now focused on raising awareness among travel agents and a potentially wider customer base. Mikko Turtianinen, director of sales for the Americas, said, "Forget the Condor of the past."
Beginning in 2022, the carrier began taking delivery of what became an all-new fleet of long-haul aircraft. By 2024, all older long-haul planes had been replaced. Total replacement of short- and medium-haul planes will be completed in 2029.
